Well, nearly 3 years after our creation The Last Alliance now has 100 signed up and (fairly) active members!!

If we counted all "alts" I reckon that could be nearer 400+ played characters!

Inactive accounts are regularly "spring-cleaned" from the forums so we can be fairly confident that that figure is pretty accurate!

I think we all deserve a little celebratory drink or two, don't you?

Following on to the discussion on the Topic in the Prancing Pony section I have decided that a poll of ideas would be a great idea (Thanks Hawk)

Now please add your suggested solution in the thread.

I feel that there has been enough discussion of the pros and cons so please refrain from "discussing" it any more in the thread.

Just post your solution to the Turtle Drop dilemma, in as much details as possible, and when it seems that everyone has posted their ideas I will collate all and organise it in to a poll.

I will moderate the thread from now on, deleting, or moving, any posts that are not specifically suggesting a sensible solution.

So put your thinking caps on, and try to cover all the "ifs, buts and maybes" in your suggestion, but at the same time keep it as simple as possible!

Kinship Information

The Last Alliance is a Lord of the Rings Online (LotRO) Kinship for older gamers (30+) who would like to be able to group with older, more mature, players when they come online.

It's also for people who don't have much time to play and aren't interested in a formalised, structured organisation, or in being interviewed before acceptance into a kinship.

Most of us have real-life commitments that will take precedence over our gaming (at least some of the time!)

We're also known as Grumpy Old Gits, although you'll find some Girl Gamers amongst us too! After all, we can remember the days before the internet, when all this used to be fields, you young scallywag!
